The honest part
2nd Star operates under our New Mexico Cannabis Control Division (CCD)–licensed cannabis entity, Loud Cloud LLC — not a charity. Because of how this industry is regulated, contributions are not tax-deductible. Partners donate RSO or provide it at cost; what we raise goes toward getting it to patients, and Loud Cloud LLC absorbs any costs that aren't covered. We do this because the good it puts back into our community is worth more than any write-off.
In return, you get the truth in full. Every non-HIPAA-protected record is available to our vendors, so you can see exactly where your oil went and how many patients it reached — alongside the public recognition that comes with standing behind this work.
Contributions are held in a Grantor Trust, structured so the funds are legally required to be spent on 2nd Star Organization operations.
